James's 21st Birthday Surprise! 30/11/18- 1/12/18

So on the 27th of November 2018 it was by boyfriend James's Birthday. It was his 21st so I wanted to do something a little different and something that I know he would enjoy.

It probably took me a good month or so to think of something that he would like to do and something he will remember. He was saying for months how he just wanted to go to London for the day, have a look about and visit a certain shoe shop.

Back in June 2018 James booked us both You, Me at Six tickets for the 30th November at The 02 Brixton, London so this was an advantage for me. My first idea was to book a hotel room in London for after the concert that we can stay in the night and make most of the of the day after.

The second surprise for James's birthday was Mini golf. There's a mini golf place in London called Swingers that me and James had spoken about a few times before and how much we wanted to go.

Obviously James won...just like always. But the staff were lovely and the place was so amazing and I loved the theme.

After the mini golf, me and James jumped on the tube and headed to Oxford street to browse the shops and head to the shoe shop he wanted to visit. Oxford street was so, so busy due to it being so close to Christmas and all the tourists.

Me and James then headed off to find somewhere to eat because all the walking made us hungry, thirsty and our legs really needed a break. We chose to google map our way to Pizza Hut.

On the way we came across... the Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics on signs down the centre of Carnaby Street. (One of my favourite songs and now one of my favourite films).

We ate our Pizza Hut and headed back down Carnaby Street to find a live band playing in the Queen Pop up Shop.

We then made our way to our last plan of the day...Winter Wonderland. It was beginning to get dark, cold and very very busy.

The queue was long, everyone was pushing and shoving and there was puddles everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very pretty and very festive but we left there as soon as we could!!!
